Enjoy the fantastic Lake Titicaca, and know the islands of the highest navigable lake in the world, enjoy the astonishing floating islands of the Uros, learn how they live and their ancestral traditions.
At Lake Titicaca 2 days tour, the first day you arrive at Amantani Island and you will be transferred to the settlers’ home where they are assigned a family with whom you will share customs and food. The second day discover Taquile Island, you will know the people and you will have time for exploring and shopping.

Lake Titicaca Floating Islands Tours

FIRST DAY

On this tour we will first visit the Uros Floating Islands taking a comfortable boat from the port of Puno (30 minutes) after visiting 2 floating islands we will continue with the trip to the island of Amantani (2 ½ hours) we will arrive at half and half a day, where we will be cordially received by local families.
Accompanied by families, we will hike (30 min uphill) to the local houses of Amantani Island, where we will have lunch typical of the island. After settling down and resting, we will walk to the top of the island to see the Inca Pachamama and Pachatata ceremonial temples.
After appreciating the beautiful views of the lake and its splendor, we will wait until sunset to contemplate one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Finally, we will return to dinner in the local houses, during the night the families will organize a welcome party (Optional) where we can dance and wear local clothing all accompanied by local musicians.

SECOND DAY

We start the day taking a typical breakfast and then descend to the port of Amantani (8 am), we will take our boat to the island of Taquile, walk uphill to the Plaza de Armas, from where we can observe the island and learn more about the customs and textile of the island, after lunch, we will descend to the port of Amantani (01:00 pm.) to return to Puno where we will arrive at averaging 04:00 pm.
