Itinerario
START
Start time: 8:00 am.
The adventure to Maras Moray & Mountain View begins early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, from where we'll head toward the Sacred Valley. Along the way, we'll enjoy spectacular landscapes, surrounded by mountains and cultivated fields. Our first stop will be Moray, a unique archaeological site that reveals the agricultural ingenuity of the Incas through its impressive circular terraces, used as an ancient crop experimentation laboratory.
We'll continue our tour to the picturesque town of Maras, famous for its colonial streets and stunning views of the valley. Here, we'll delve into the history and traditions of the area before heading to one of the most stunning sights of the tour: the Maras Salt Mines. This incredible collection of more than 3,000 salt pools, exploited since pre-Inca times, creates a stunning visual spectacle with its white and pink hues contrasting with the mountains.
After exploring these wonderful destinations, we'll head to Mountain View Hotel, a cozy space surrounded by nature, where you can relax and enjoy a restful night with spectacular views of the Sacred Valley mountains.
Duration: Approximately 6 hours.
IMPORTANT:
- This tour will end at approximately 2:00 PM. You'll have the afternoon free. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Qosqo Native Art Center, which presents a performance of typical regional dances. The show begins at 6:00 PM, but since it's a very popular spot, we recommend arriving at least 40 minutes early.
- Admission costs S/.25.00 (If you have the General Tourist Ticket, admission is included).
